Dear Scott and Todd,

Your journey is a true boreal adventure and I hope that your expedition will help bring attention to the protection of the forest. Since Eric Sevareid traveled your route 74 years ago, acid rain, clear-cutting for pulp and lumber and straight line winds from global climate change are decimating this boreal forest.
We all need to be stewards of the earth and your stewardship of our northern forest through educating people of your tales of adventure and beauty is a very worthy cause...and I applaud you.
