We are very pleased to have the Minnesota Historical
Society Press (MHS) as a sponsor. Eric Sevareid's paddle and Walter
Port's compass are part of their collection. MHS Press will provide
us with support for our educational presentations and assist us with
researching the history of the region and the Sevareid/Port expedition.

The Minnesota Historical Society Press is the publisher
of Canoeing with the Cree. They have given us a great deal on copies
of 'Canoeing with the Cree' to sell as fundraisers for our trip. They
